What are some things to do on the Sallandse Heuvelrug?

    Day recreation area

    With a large playground and picnic tables, it's a wonderful place to spend some time. Get out the hiking map and plan a route while the kids build a fort.

    The nature museum

    In the nature diorama, you can see more than 1,000 animals, ranging from the largest songbird in the Netherlands to the only monkey found in Europe.

    Cycling or mountain biking

    De Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park is a paradise for endless bike rides. In addition, there are two marked mountain bike trails.
